2)     Assign Catalog, allows you to save the configuration directly on an existing catalog or on a new catalog as preconfigured bundles. Please contact BizTBaa Support to enable this feature.

3)     Einstein Integration* to price smarter and influence Sales Behavior with OneCPQ Data and AI. With AI becoming more ubiquitous, smart sales organizations are looking to get ahead of the curve by mining their own deal data and operationalizing individualized pricing recommendations. OneCPQ offers integration of Salesforce Einstein Analytics.

4)     Price override* feature in catalogue to identify the same product with a different code and name. This caters to the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Value-Added Resellers (VAR).

*Please contact BizTBaa Sales for pricing.

You are using world’s best CRM cloud application and it shouldn’t limit your ability to sell products from distributors faster. No more juggling between different apps to get the product, promotions and their availability from your preferred distributors. Maintain your margin and be fast in sending your quotes. OneCPQ now offers the organizations to seamlessly integrate with other popular web apps using industry standard API protocols to list distributors’ products directly in OneCPQ catalog. Updates:

Opportunity & Quote Sync

Opportunity and Quote Sync process has been restructured. Quote Sync functionality is now called as Primary Quote. By default, any new quote that is created from an opportunity is marked as Primary Quote and it is synced with the opportunity. There will be only one primary quote for an opportunity.

If only one quote is associated with an opportunity and if it is a primary quote, then any sync action performed in the cart is automatically synced both in the opportunity and primary quote. If there is more than one quote in the opportunity, any sync action performed in the cart will show a pop-up window with a facility to choose and sync the quotes that are available.

User will be able to perform the following actions in the new Sync process. Please note that the selected products will automatically get synced with the quote that is Primary. It is not necessary to select the primary quote, explicitly for syncing.

1.      Sync or Unsync the selected products with the opportunity.

2.      User will be able to pick and choose the quote to be synced with the selected products.

3.      User will be able to change the primary quote.

Administrator can default the Auto Sync of Quote to Opportunity under OneCPQ Settings as shown.

Auto Sync Quote to Opportunity field checked will automatically sync any new quote created from an opportunity and marked as primary quote. If the setting is defaulted to unchecked then the user have to manually sync the quote with an opportunity.

Document Activity Location

Admin can now set the default location in custom metadata setting for Email Activity of generated and sent documents. When sales rep generates and sends documents from OneCPQ, the activity history can now be stored at the defined custom metadata location. If nothing is defined, then the default location is the object type in which the template is defined.

For example, the below Service Agreement template has Quote object as Object Type and there is no custom metadata record for Document Activity Location. In this case, the Activity History for email will be stored at Quote object.

Follow the steps below to set and capture the email activity history to the related object of the Quote or the object that is used as Object Type of the template. For example, the above Service Agreement Template has object type as Quote. This means the generated document will use data from quote object and will save the activity history in quote record unless defined in custom metadata types.

To change the default document activity location, create a custom metadata type record in Document Activity Location as described below.

1.      Go to Setup->Custom Metadata Types

2.      Click Manage Records of Document Activity Location

3.      Click New button to create a new document activity location record

4.      Enter ‘Quote Activity Location’ as Label

5.      Enter the same Label in Document Activity Location Name

6.      Select ‘App Settings’ as setting value.

7.      Enter ‘Quote’ as Object Type.

8.      Enter ‘OpportunityId’ as Location value in case the email activity history is to be stored under opportunity record of the Quote.

9.      Click Save to create a custom metadata type for Document Activity Location.

The above settings will now save the Email Activity History under the related Opportunity record of the quote.

Document Close Location

Admin can now set the default redirection location in custom metadata setting when user clicks ‘Close’ button in ‘Generate & Email’ process. When sales rep generates and sends documents from OneCPQ, and clicks ‘Close’ button on the page, by default the user is taken back to the page in which the process was initiated.  In the example below, ‘Generate & Email’ process was initiated from Quote object and if nothing is defined in ‘Document Close Location’ custom metadata type, then the user is taken back to Quote record page.

Follow the steps below, to change the default behavior of close location.

1.      Go to Setup->Custom Metadata Types

2.      Click Manage Records of ‘Document Close Location’ metadata type.

3.      Click New button to create a new document close location record

4.      Enter ‘Quote’ as Label.

5.      Enter the same Label text in Document Close Location Name

6.      Select ‘App Settings’ as setting value.

7.      Enter ‘Quote’ as Object Type.

8.      Enter ‘OpportunityId’ as Location value in case the user to be redirected to opportunity record of the Quote.

9.      Click Save to create a custom metadata type for Document Close Location.
